A sweet bunny face from two long ovals, three circles and four whiskers. Perfect for Easter cards, or any time.
Draw this bunny on screen →Mouse, finger or stylus. Each stroke is scored; free, no account.
You'll need
Paper and a pencil, then pens or crayons to colour in. Or nothing at all: draw it on screen and each stroke gets a score for how straight, round and smooth it is.
Steps
-
Step 1: the left ear
Draw a long, thin oval for the left ear, leaning slightly to the left, near the top of the page.
-
Step 2: the right ear
Draw the right ear the same, leaning slightly right. The bottoms of the ears should almost touch.
-
Step 3: the head
Draw a circle for the head, overlapping the bottom of both ears.
-
Step 4: the left eye
Draw a small circle for the left eye, a little above the middle of the head.
-
Step 5: the right eye
Draw the right eye the same size and height.
-
Step 6: the whisker
Draw four short straight whiskers, two out to each side from just below the eyes.
-
Step 7: colour it in
Colour the bunny cream or white, the insides of the ears pink, and the eyes dark with a white sparkle. Add a small pink nose between the whiskers, a little "w" mouth and two pink cheeks.
Tips
- Long ears are the whole charm: make them at least as tall as the head.
- A tiny white dot in each eye makes the bunny look alive. Leave it on paper, or add it with white gel pen.
- For a floppy-eared bunny, tilt one ear right over to the side.
Questions
How do I draw a bunny for kids?
Draw two long ovals for ears, a circle for the head overlapping them, two small circles for eyes and a few short lines for whiskers. Then add a pink nose and colour it in.
What is the difference between drawing a bunny and a rabbit?
None, really: "bunny" usually means a cute, cartoon rabbit, with a rounder head and bigger eyes, like this one.
How do I draw a bunny body?
Add a big oval under the head for the body, two small ovals for the front paws, and a fluffy circle for the tail.
