Privacy policy

Last updated November 2, 2026. You can use Draw Steady without an account. Your daily-set strokes never leave your device, only their scores; finished animal drawings are saved for your sticker book. If you sign in with Google, we keep your name, email address and picture so your progress follows you. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

Usage analytics

We record which pages are visited and how practice goes (such as opening practice, finishing the daily set and its average scores, and strokes tried on the guide pages) to understand what helps people practise. These records include your random ID, the page, your browser and device type, and your IP address, from which an approximate location may be derived. If you're signed in, Mixpanel also receives your name and email address; our own statistics service doesn't. They go to:

Google sign-in

Signing in uses Google. The home page loads Google's sign-in button, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when you visit it, whether or not you sign in. If you do sign in, Google knows that you signed in to Draw Steady.

If you email us

We keep your message and email address only to reply to you.

What we don't do

How long it's kept

Practice history and animal drawings are kept while Draw Steady runs, so your streak, chart and sticker book keep working, unless you ask us to delete them. Analytics and server logs are kept only as long as they're useful for understanding and running the site.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have further rights, such as to object to how your data is used, or to complain to a data protection authority. Email us and we'll help.

Children

Draw Steady is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. Under-13s should not sign in. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email [email protected] and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If what we keep or how we use it changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
