How does the daily set work?

Each day has 20 guides: 8 lines, 6 circles and 6 ellipses. Everyone gets the same set on the same day. It takes about three minutes. Finish it to keep your streak; free practice is there for as many extra strokes as you like.

How is a stroke scored?

Three parts. Straight, Round or Even: how true the stroke is to its own shape, wherever it landed. On target: how close it came to the dots or the guide. Smooth: no wobble and no hesitation. The total weights them 40 / 35 / 25. A stroke that doesn't reach the other dot, or doesn't go all the way round, isn't scored; just try again.

Mouse, pen or finger?

All work. A pen tablet or a tablet with a stylus is closest to drawing on paper. With a mouse or trackpad scores run lower; compare yourself with your own past days.

Where is my progress saved?

In this browser, and on our server under a random ID so it survives a reload. Sign in with Google on the home page to keep it on your account and see it on every device; what you practised before signing in comes with you.

Why did my streak reset?

The streak counts days in a row on which you finished the daily set, going by your device's date. It still shows in the morning before you've practised, and resets only if you missed a whole day.

How do I delete my account?

Email [email protected] from the address you signed in with, and we'll delete your account and its practice history.

Does it cost anything?

No. Draw Steady is free.
